Programs Director
Suzette (she/they) serves as a Programs Director at the Health Improvement Partnership and comes to us rooted in her values of compassion, authenticity, curiosity, and courage as her north star for supporting meaningful, enduring change.
Committed to equity, she has a rich background in adolescent reproductive health, substance use and overdose prevention, systems of care, clinical and translational research, research-based community and provider education, and quality improvement.
Suzette holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Nursing with concentrations in Biology and Wellness, a Master’s in Women’s Healthcare Nursing, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. They are also certified as a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Practitioner.
Along with their extensive leadership in community health, Suzette is an impassioned advocate for creating trauma-informed systems of care, nurturing post-traumatic resilience and growth, cultivating cultural and intellectual humility, fostering human connection and interdependent mindsets, and empowering others to source their inner capacity to thrive.
